Walls from a plan or drawn directly

Exterior walls from a closed outline – several buildings, any angle, re-entrant corners – interior walls from their centre line, and a Draw walls tool for clicking walls in without floor-plan lines.

Seven region profiles

The profile sets the cross sections, stud spacing, sheet size, number of top plates and how openings are framed. In Europe it follows the sheathing module (600 or 625 mm); in North America it works with 16 or 24 inch spacing. Every value can be overridden per wall.

Corners and junctions

Pinwheel corners at any angle, corner studs for the interior lining, two backing studs where interior walls meet, and a lapped double top plate in the North American profiles.

Studs on the sheet module

Studs are placed so that every sheet joint lands on a stud; where a joint would have no stud behind it, the plugin adds one. At horizontal sheet joints a row of blocking goes into every bay.

Doors and windows

Openings with a click and a live preview: full-height king studs, jack studs, header, sill, cripples above and below. Header depth and stud counts are suggested from tables and can be overridden per opening.

Checks and cut list

Warnings per wall: spacing, openings, height, sheet joints, splices. The cut list comes with marks, totals (m³, m², board feet) and CSV export, including exterior sheathing and optional interior lining.

Important: FrameGenius Pro enforces geometric and construction rules and warns when a value falls outside the tabulated range. Loads, bracing, anchorage and header sizing always remain the job of a qualified professional.
